This monitoring includes, but is not limited to, the application of sensory and motor evoked potentials (EP), electromyography (EMG), compound muscle action potentials (CMAP), and intraoperative electroencephalography (EEG) recording techniques for detecting changes in nerve tissue that is “at risk” for intraoperative injury.
